My K-Pop Dance Workout Routine: Fun and Easy Way to Keep Healthy (Steps and Link to Video)


I'm the type of person that easily get bored, that's why I don't really enjoy doing monotonous workout routine like jogging, running, or aerobic. In addition, I don't have enough spare time (and money) to go to fitness center or gym to burn my calories. So, I came up with an idea to exercise at home by doing dance 'covers'on some Kpop songs. I found this is really fun because I love dancing (I'm not quite good at it though) and the song is so catchy and makes you want to sing along haha. Here I'm using popular Idol groups' song such as EXID, GOT7, BIGBANG, AOA, A Pink, Miss A, SISTAR, SNSD, etc and two dance from 1Million Dance. I also have hyperlinked to the mirrored videos (but some are not), so you only have to click the link to watch the video. So, this is my favorite dance line up. I categorized them into four steps: Warming up, Medium Intensity, High Intensity, and also Cooling Down. However, I usually  don't do all of the dance in one workout session but I choose some dances from every step and in the next day I choose different dances.


Step 1 : Warming Up



  1. Five minutes warming Up 
  2. Mr. Chu -A Pink
  3. Heart Attack - AOA
  4. Touch My Body - Sistar
  5. I Swear - Sistar
  6. Remember - A Pink
  7. Bing-Bing - Crayon Pop
  8. Up & Down - EXID

Even though this routine doesn't makes you sweat as much as you do the real exercise (except you add more high intensity dance), I think it is still useful to keep my weight. Maybe the problems that makes me hard to lose wight is because I cannot control my eating (I still eat oily and high calories food) and I don't do this routine regularly (Im the type of person that lack of self-discipline T.T). I hope in 2016 I can do this routine regularly and do more healthy lifestyle :D
