Review: Viva Red A Lipstcik No. 601

Kali ini aku akan mereview salah satu produk dari line Viva Cosmetics, which is Red A Lipstick No. 601. Jadi waktu Meet and Greet Viva di Kota Malang kemarin, aku sempat beli beberapa produk dan salah satunya Red A Lipstick ini. Alasan kenapa aku milih lipstick ini adala warnanya yang cantik banget, finishingnya yang satin, dan juga harganya yang sangt terjangkau khususnya untuk anak sekolah atau mahasiswa. Packaging:

Red A Lipstick ini dikemas secara simpel. Kemasannya bewarna putih dan dilengkapi dengan merk produk di tutupnya. Di bagian bawah produk tercantum nomor lipstick, ingredients, serta expired date.  Untuk bentuk kemasannya sendiri juga standar sperti lipstik kebanyakan, yaitu diputar.

Color:

Warna Red A Lisptik no. 601 ini adalah pink dengan sedikit sentuhan hint orange. Warnanya mungkin sedikit mencolok untuk dipakai rutinitas sehari-hari, namun tetap oke kalau untuk dipakai jalan-jalan atau berpergian. Dari katalog yang aku dapatkan  warna-warna lipstick Red A ini memang dipakai untuk anak-anak muda seperti ABG, anak mahasiswa, atau juga first-jobber.

Texture:

Lipstik ini punya finishing yang tidak matte melainkan satin-like (bukan glossy). Warna yang dihasilkan juga tidak berbeda jauh ketika diaplikasikan ke bibir. Untuk yang punya bibir yang pigmented seperti aku, coverage lipstik Red A no. 601 ini lumayan but doesn’t fully cover. Bisa dibilang coveragenya medium. Btw, lipstik yang satu ini tidak ada bau ‘parfum’ yang kadang sering mengganggu.

Teksturnya jika dipulaskan ke bibir juga smooth, berbeda dengan lipstik Viva Blue Series. Namun, untuk yang punya bibir kering seperti aku, dianjurkan untuk memakai pelembab dahulu karena lipstik ini bikin ‘jejak’ di area bibir yang kering.  Aku saranin juga untuk tetap re-apply pelembab bibir because this liptick dries my lips, entah karena emang formula lipstiknya yang bikin kerng atau emang dasarnya bibirku kering.

Staying power dari produk ini bagiku terlalu singkat, cuma 2-3 jam atau kurang tergantung pemakaian.  Selain itu, it transfers easily ketika dipakai makan atau minum. Warnanya juga gampang pudar ketika digosok

Harga yang dari lipstik ini sangat budget-friendly sekali yaitu Rp.14.450 (harga website). Tapi karena aku beli di Meet n’ Greet kemarin cuma 12.500 rupiah saja.

Conclusion:

Minus:

-          - Staying powernya payah

-          - Bikin bibir kering

Perks:

+ Warnanya super cantik

+ Harganya ramah di kantong

+ Coverage lumayan untuk menutpi bagian hitam di bibir

+ Finishnya satin-like. Suka!!

Secara garis besar,  aku mungkin ga nge repurchase product ini kalau ada produk dari merk lain dengan warna yang sama dan staying powernya lebih lama.

Review: Mizzu Eyeliner Pen Perfect Wear (Black)

Beberapa waktu lalu, eyeliner ini sempat membuat heboh para pecinta kosmetik di Indonesia. Alasannya? Mungkin karena harganya yang cukup murah dan juga easy to use. Setelah membaca review dari beberapa blogger lainnya, akhirnya aku memberanikan diri untuk mencoba Mizzu Eyeliner Pen ini.

Mizzu Eyeliner Pen mempunyai dua pilihan warna, yaitu 'Black' dan 'Brown'. Sementara ini aku baru mencoba yang warna black. Eyeliner ini dikemas secara simple dalam kotak mika sesuai dengan produknya. Sayangnya, kemasannya udah terlanjur aku buang jadi gak sempat buat difoto.

I'm not a big fan of premium products, selain karena dijangkau kantong mahasiswi seperti aku, sebenarnya banyak produk lokal maupun produk drugstore yang gak kalah kualitasnya plus dengan harga yang bersahabat. So, in this post I'm going to make some of quick reviews of products that I use everyday.

Review: Wardah Sunscreen Gel SPF 30

Wah, udah lama banget gak update blog ini! Mumpung lagi libur kuliah dan lagi nganggur, aku bakal review Wardah Sunscreen Gel SPF 30 which is my very first sunscreen product.

Sunscreen gel ini dikemas dalam bentuk tube warna putih dan hijau telor, simpel banget deh! Tutup tubenya juga dibentuk buka-tutup, bukan ulir jadi lebih praktis. Ukurannya yang cuma 40ml cukup handy kalau dibawa kemana-mana.

Isi dari sunscreen ini ternyata gak seperti 'gel' yang aku bayangkan. Isinya lebih mirip lotion warna putih susu. Untuk pemakaian cukup di-squirt sebiji jagung, terus diolesin tipis-tipis ke seluruh wajah dan leher. Setelah dipakai wajah emang berasa lengket dan berminyak. Pernah sebelum apply sunscreen ini, aku pakai pelembab dulu dan hasilnya wajah jadi muncul jerawat-jerawat kecil.

This Sunscreen claims:

• Melindungi kita dari UVA +UVB , serta Vit. E sebagai anti-oksidan
• Melembabkan karena ada aloevera dan Pro. Vit B5
• Mudah meresap, nyaman gak lengket di kulit

Pros:

+ Murah (less than Rp. 30.000,00)

+ Baunya enak (menurutku sih)

+ Muat di purse

+ 2in1, gak perlu pake pelembab dulu

+ Awet pake banget, 40ml bisa dipake 2 bulan lebih

Cons:

- Belum keliatan hasilnya, meskipun aku udah pake 2 bulan lebih

- Kayaknya gak cocok untuk kulit wajahku yang gampang keringetan

- Bedak gampang luntur jadinya (mungkin karena keringetan itu tadi)

Jujur sih, aku beli produk ini karena keracunan mbak-mbak BA. Katanya sunscreen ini bisa ngilangin masalah kulit wajahku (putih-putih di wajah tapi bukan panu atau jamur) dalam waktu sebulan. Tapi nyata udah 2 bulan lebih masih belum ilang. So far ketika aku produk ini wajah jadi lembab, banget malah! Mungkin karena aku orangnya gampang keringetan jadinya rada lengket-lengket gimana gitu. Untuk efek sunscreennya, jujur masih belum keliatan ada perubahan apapun di wajah.

Repurchase? Maybe not, pingin coba produk yang lain

Pixy Colours Of Delight : White Line & Shadow review

Few weeks ago, I decided to buy a white eyeliner. Actually I'm already longing for it since forever!! I bought it at one of a shopping centre in front of my campus for IDR 30.000 or about $3. But, when I read another review about this product, it said that this product only costs about IDR 25.000. Poor me T.T

The product comes in a really pretty pencil, but I don't think that it's a eyeliner pencil, because its creamy texture. It sealed with a-hard-to-open-plastic! You need a scissors or something to remove the seal. Unfortunately, I can't tell you what are the composition of this eyeliner, because it's all written in the seal and I have thrown it somewhere.

At the first time I applied this product,  it messed up!! The liner 'transferred' to my lower lashes (because I used it on waterline) and there're harsh edges everywhere. Maybe, I don't really used to use eyeliner in my waterline.

It has really good staying power, I don't know exactly, but I used it to campus from 7 a.m till 2 p.m, It still lasted. It also waterproof and smudge-proof too!! But the sad thing is, it's really hard to cleaned. I have to dip a Q-tip in baby oil or make up remover, the swipe it along the waterline. I found it really troublesome, because a swipe doesn't enough to remove the eyeliner.

Cons:

• I think it's kinda pricey for me
• Hard to sharpen the pencil
• Sometimes, it made my eyes red (but I didn't itch or hurt)
• Hard to removed

Pros:

• The texture is so creamy, easy to apply
• water-proof & smudge-proof
• long last
• the color is really nice!

REVIEW: ETUDE HOUSE'S SHINI STAR LIPBALM

Past few weeks, I've been busy with my college things! Yes, I'm a Freshman now, and as usual, first term in the university is the busiest one because there're soooo manyy course that we have to take. Besides, my university is in the neighbor city and it takes about 45 minutes if there's no traffic. I know it's kinda tiring, my parents and my friends suggested me to find dormitory house but I refused. I think it's such a waste and I have to manage my own money if I live in dormitory. Hehe.

So, let's skip the university and stuff!

Few days (or maybe a week ) ago, I received my Shini star lipbalm. I ordered it because I ran out of my wardah lipgloss, so I want to try something 'coloured' yet natural, then I decided to purchase this little baby :D

As can you see, the package is really cute >.<. Besides, you can get Shinee members' at the bottom of the tin. So, if you want to have all members's signature you have to buy 5 kinds of it!!

I purchased it for about IDR. 60.000++ or less than $7, quite pricey for student like me. Its size is really handy and the weight is only 0.9gr, so it fits in your makeup pouch or even your pocket.  

I chose the #2 (Jonghyun), because I thought the orange colour goes well with my dark-toned-lips. But the fact is, the colour barely visible but It's tinted!! Maybe my lip's colour is too dark so this lip-balm's colour doesn't show up. It looks like I didn't use anything on my lips!

Number #2 has grapefruit scent in it, but disappointingly when I unsubconsciously  lick my lips it doesn't taste one :P. The other sad thing is the staying power isn't good. I used it when I was going to Campus from my house, and it only took 35 or 45 minutes, the gloss vanished but the colour were not!

 My lips are extremely easy to dried but this lipbalm moists my lips well and doesn't give me a sticky feeling. I once got a little bleeding on my lips and that's quite hurt! Then, I give it a little swap of the lipbalm and voila! my lips didn't dry anymore and there was no hurt feeling anymore !!

Repurchase? YES!! but I want to try the Taemin's one :D
